The ITC program helps Black students facing socio-economic barriers, achieve academic and career success by connecting them with mentors. Through mentorship, empowerment and skills sharing, we are equipping Black students with the tools to successfully pursue their professional goals.
ONTARIO MEDICAL SCHOOL APPLICATION
We are currently recruiting for our MEDICINE mentor team, please see below for available positions.
Core Mentor:
As a core mentor you will have the opportunity to build a relationship with your mentor group as you provide advice and direction regarding the medical school application process. You will be assigned a group of 3-4 mentees and work with them from June-Oct in preparing their medical school application. Throughout the program you will be supported by Petra (Head of Mentorship) and Kwame (Medicine Director).
Specialized Mentors:
- ABS Specific mentor: Review applicant ABS’s and provide feedback
- Essay specific mentor: Review applicant essays and provide feedback
